Identity G Center

Feb 22, 2022

The Identity G Center is the hub for direction, love, self, purpose, give & receive.

Also known as the seat of the soul. This center holds us together. It is a balanced magnet that attracts everything that you are and repels what you are not.

It guides you towards your sense of purpose and path. The G center is connects to the Ego, Sacral, Throat and Spleen Centers.

Each gate has a theme related to direction or love.

Approximately 57% of the population have a defined G center, a consistent sense of direction and self. Defining others with where they want to go and who they are. They have a clear sense of what’s for them and what isn’t.

While an estimate of 43% of the population are undefined or completely open. Amplifying the energies of the defined, their potential and taking in their direction. Being undefined, also means they’re impacted by the energetics of their environment.

Defined Identity G Center

Represents a fixed and reliable sense of self. You have a consistent self image and feeling of lovability.

You know where you’re going (even though you might not have all the details). It all flows naturally.

When you’re deeply connected to this center you have the capacity to comfort those who are feeling at lost with their sense of self.

You’re able to point out new directions, new relationships to others.

The Undefined Identity G Center

Capacity to be the ultimate guide to others. You’re meant to be fluid and step in and out of many roles and embodying different identities throughout your life. You’re seen as a shapeshifter and can adapt easily.

Your environment is important since this open center will reflect and amplify anyone you come into contact with.

The right people and the right places will lead you to the right opportunities.

The Not Self of this center is: “Fixated on finding love and direction”

If you have an undefined or open G center, you might feel the urge to have a fixed sense of direction or self. Know that strength of your openness is your ability to sample many roles and energies without being defined by them. This is how you cultivate your wisdom.

Allow love to come to you, your worth is not defined by the roles you play, they’re simply an extension of you.

Gates in the Identity G Center

Whether you’re defined or undefined notice what gates you have activated in the G Center.

That’s the area where energy will be flowing and processing most often. What’s the theme of that energy? What center does it connect to or point towards?

How can you hold space for that energy? How can you nourish and cultivate it?

If you’re undefined/open, are you allowing yourself to be fluid, moving in and out of roles when called to?

One more thing

Remember, the centers are a fraction of your design. You are a unique combination of so many other moving parts. Your type, definition, profile, channels, gate, conditioning etc. All this information is pretty high level but a good starting point to get you familiarize with the HD system.

Knowing what energies we broadcast and amplify gives us a better sense of awareness. It helps us build a better understanding of ourselves and others.

You can be whoever you want to be. Human Design simply gives you a little insight on how your energies can support you and provide direction for what tools can help you get there.

💡Do you have a defined, undefined or open Identity G center?

Undefined Identity center here! One of the biggest ‘aha’ for me was the permission to be fluid. I am not defined by the roles I play. Of course each role has helped me grow and gather lifelong wisdom but that doesn’t mean I have to hold on to those identities. Which could also explain why labels feel so restrictive to me!
