Hello friends! Finally, we’re getting into the centers in Human Design! I’ve been wanting to talk about this for months but it just didn’t *feel* right yet.

After a few weeks in deep creative flow as I wrapped up my Human Design Reference Guide for readers or anyone who’s self studying, I’m excited to be sharing a few more center tidbits that I’ve been processing.

The centers in Human Design are based on the wisdom of the Hindu Brahman Chakra System.

The Crown center is also known as the Head center, is a pressure center. It’s where you get big ideas, downloads and inspiration. It’s the pressure to translate existence.

This center is here to be confused and doubtful. To explore the mysteries of life.

Literally puts pressure on the mind center to solve those questions.

Approximately 30% of the population have a defined Crown, which means that 30% are constantly broadcasting their inspiration, their questions and confusions. Which means about 70 are receiving and amplifying the defined Crown’s questions, inspirations and confusions!

While an estimate of 70% of the population are undefined or completely open. Which means they’re receiving and amplifying the defined Crown’s questions, inspirations and confusions!

Defined Crown Center

You have a fixed and reliable way of thinking.

There is a consistent mental activity. A pressure to ask, answer and understand.

It is normal for you to pondering on many things at once. Your mind is a playground, allow yourself to play without expecting an outcome. Just because there’s energy doesn’t mean you’ll get answers.

The Undefined Crown Center

Having an undefined Crown means you’re constantly inspired, amplifying ideas and questions around you all the time. Which can enhance the pressure to think, comprehend and make sense of it all.

The wisdom of this center is knowing which questions, inspirations, and insights are actually useful in the moment.

You’re open to ideas and inspiration coming from all different directions.

Gates in the Crown Center

Whether you’re defined or undefined notice what gates you have activated in the Crown.

That’s the area where energy will be processed most often.

I say most often because there are other factors that can influence our energies; such as the transits, people you hang out with etc. We’re rarely just our energies but understanding what’s constant within us can help us feel grounded and have a better sense and awareness of what we’re broadcasting to others and what we’re amplifying.

One more thing

Remember, the centers are a fraction of your design. You are a unique combination of so many other moving parts. Your type, definition, profile, channels, gate, conditioning etc. All this information is pretty high level but a good starting point to get you familiarize with the HD system.

Knowing what energies we broadcast and amplify gives us a better sense of awareness. It helps us build a better understanding of ourselves and others.

You can be whoever you want to be. Human Design simply gives you a little insight on how your energies can support you and provide direction for what tools can help you get there.
