Something I’ve carried with me since my very first Strala Yoga training: Slow down + notice + respond
It’s so simple isn’t it?
But it certainly goes against everything we’re taught. To rush from one thing to the next, to be anywhere but the present…
But when you’re able to slow down, you can actually listen to whats going on within.
It’s not about knowing all the steps ahead. Or even have your path figured out.
Trust that each step will reveal the next one.
But we’re often so caught up in what’s next that we rarely ask ourselves what’s needed now.
Why is that important? Because life is composed of these micro moments and choices. Where every decision can move you closer or further from your alignment. How you respond can make all the difference.
It’s about doing what you can right now. What is your body telling you? What is your spirit craving for? It may look different everyday but unless you make space to listen you might miss out on the nudges to align and what your body needs.
Doesn’t mean you need to solve everything right away but you can make space and be intentional about it.
A key thing is to release judgement when you notice. How can you infuse compassion in every choice you make?
