Oh Sintra! Where do I even start? Merely an an hour away from Lisbon. Sintra took my breath away, it’s surreal, straight out of a fairytale. Full of national monuments, ancient ruins and beautiful architecture. So many different but equally stunning castles in the midst of all those hills.

There is quite a lot of hiking you can do around this small town. Make sure you’re wearing comfortable shoes because there are a lot of hills and uneven floors.

There are also a lot of restaurants and shops in the city core. A lot of car tours as well for those who can’t walk for too long.
