You can replace almond with any nut, mix em’ up or even add seeds!
Here’s what you’ll need:
– 3 cups raw almonds (will yield to 1.5 cups at the end)
– Seasonings you want (I used maple syrup and salt for this recipe)
1️⃣Set oven to 350 F. Roast almonds 15-20 min (depending on your oven or the types of nut you’re roasting) Stir frequently
2️⃣Cool for 20 min
3️⃣Blend until it’s paste-like
4️⃣Season as desired
5️⃣Blend a bit more and voilà
Use for smoothies, spreads, oatmeal, baking etc etc. Can’t believe how easy this was! No more buying nut butters outside. It’s cheaper and I get to decide exactly what goes in 😉
