We’ve been in the influence of Gate 53, gate of beginnings for a few days. Also known as the gate of expansion, of planting seeds, to start new cycles for itself + others.

The Gate of Beginnings is the pressure to launch, the fuel that get things started. It carries the wisdom of collective cycles and lessons.

From Sacral to Root

From the Sacral— the hub for vital life force, reproduction, sustainability and sexuality. The 42 Gate of Growth is the Sacral’s cue on what to commit, stay in or when to wrap a cycle up.

It reaches towards the Root—the center for life fuel, momentum adrenaline, stress & pressure. It connects to 53 Gate of Beginnings, the fuel to start, the catalyst to dive into new experiences.

Together they form the 53-42 Channel of Maturation.

Collective Sensing Circuit

A few weeks ago we tapped into 42 Gate of Growth and along with Gate 53, this channel jumpstarts the Collective Sensing Circuit.

It’s an abstract energy that has the power to drive us to reflect on the past and begin new experiences. It’s the power to grow in tenacity + to mature through a cycle as a collective. While Gate 53 is the energy to start a new cycle, Gate 42 is the energy to stay in and finish it.

Yet the 53 without Gate 42 doesn’t always have the energy to finish what they start. In a way, they’re not meant to do so. When following their S&A they’re here to start things + release them for others to finish or to simply let go.

Shadow Expressions

The conditioning of having to finish everything they start can be a big deterrent for Gate 53 to blossom. Specially with society’s expectations associated with not “completing” something.

What if, you’re here to be the spark? To open the door and see what happens next? You’re always on the right path when you’re grounded in yourself + leaning on your S&A.

In the shadow expressions, the 53 pursues growth out of fear and scarcity. Starting things for the sake of—from the mind, when it’s unsustainable, feeling detached from the rest of the collective as it pursues its own growth or feeling frustrated they’re unable to complete what they start.

Now, it’s important to note, like all the energy in our bodygraph, that just because you feel a constant pressure to start, to dive into something new, it doesn’t apply to everything, anything at anytime. Specially if driven by the mind or from an ungrounded place.

Check in with yourself, lean into the guidance of your S&A so you can plant on fertile, stable soil.

Generated Channel

This is a generated energy, as it connects to the 42, coming out of the Sacral. It’s here to be in response along with the guidance of your S&A.

The Root pressure gradually builds up until it’s time to release through whatever container, experience, relationship, cycle your authority is leading you towards. It’s not an awareness center though, it simply signals when it’s time or not to dive into something.

How can you cultivate trust in the timing of this gate as you embark on new beginnings while releasing expectations of how it will look like? What can you release, that no longer requires your energy? How can you nourish your ability to plant seeds + co-create with the collective?

Wisdom of Gate of Beginnings

The Wisdom of Gate 53 lies in trusting in the seeds you plant—even if you don’t know when or if fruits will bear.

Remember, this is a collective energy. It’s not a linear process. Anything new takes time to develop and mature; some cycles span through generations.

When you engage and start from a grounded place, supported by your Strategy & Authority, your 53 sets off like a domino effect. You’re here to hop in + out through many portals. It’s the energy of collaborating with the collective, with the universe.

We are a part of a bigger ecosystem. Everything we put out there interacts with + has an effect on each other.

Lesson of Gate 53

One of the lessons of this gate is allowing yourself to begin again, from a centered place.

It can feel scary and exhausting at times to take on new projects, new career, relationships, adventures…yet the 53 learns through these new experiences. It needs this space, this freedom in order to mature.

How can you adopt a playful childlike approach and trust in the guidance of your S&A? How can you soothe and ground yourself through uncertainty? How can you cultivate patience as you sow your seeds and receive whatever comes back? This energy can be seen in start-ups, serial entrepreneurs who launch many successful endeavours.
