The Gate of the Direction of the Self represents the seat of the soul, our higher selves. There’s an innate sense of direction for what you’re here to do, be and where you’re moving towards.

Coming from the Sacral—the hub for vital life force, reproduction, sustainability and sexuality. 14 Gate of Power Skills is the release of life force energy to empower others with resources.

Connecting to the Identity G—the hub direction, identity, love, self, purpose, give & receive. Reaching to Gate 2 the direction, the guardrails on how to use, direct those resources. It’s here to receive, witness life moving through you.

Together they form the 14-2 Channel of the Beat.

The Gate of the Higher Self is what guides you forward and has the ability to offer others a sense of direction + purpose. While you might not be consciously aware of your own personal direction or how you help others (not an awareness center after all) Gate 2’s purpose is to simply embrace their path + embody their individuality.

Yet Gate 2 without the 14 might not always have the power + resources to bring their vision to life. Having the vision doesn’t mean you’ll always be the one to execute it. Learning to wait for the right people and timing to support your process.

How can you trust in the guidance of your strategy & authority? How can you ground into your vision even if you don’t know the how or when?

This is a Generated energy, it’s here to be in response, along with your strategy & authority guiding you.

It’s also part of the Individual Knowing Circuit. This impulsive energy has the potential to mutate and empower the collective when you honour your inner pulls + your individuality. It’s here to stand out and follow their own pulse regardless of what others are doing.

Like every energy in the Individual Circuit, you’ll experience bouts of melancholy. You might feel that things are not moving fast enough or that you don’t have what it takes to bring your vision to life; how can you surrender to your own personal timing? How can you trust that the resources will come as you honour yourself and flow?

Lesson of the Gate of the Direction of Self

One of the biggest lessons from Gate 2 lies in waiting and patience.

How do you hold the pose, hold on to your vision while also holding uncertainty? Even though this is an individual energy, not everything has to be figured out or done by you. How do you take care of yourself until all the energetics, resources, partnerships, opportunities align to support you?

The Wisdom from the Gate of Direction of the Self lies in oneness and the magic of serendipity.

Everything is interconnected. We are all ripples of each other. We are a single drop in the ocean and the whole ocean. What if serendipity is not about luck? What if things fall into place because we start trusting? When we stop getting in our own way and surrender to life moving through us.

Like Rumi said: “What you seek is seeking you.”

How would your life look from that perspective? That everything you desire is making it’s way to you, regardless of the how and when. What will you release to make space for? How can you open yourself up to receive?
